Last night I slept longer, but the night before I didn’t sleep well with Karen gone. It was good to hear that Elizabeth had fed well and that Janet was doing better. Karen was sad when she found out that she didn’t get the GT position. But she was also excited for the next year. I just hope she is as excited when she gets her students.

Work was very busy today. There are a number of things that are still not working well in the new system. And for all our data cleansing, some things ported over in what appears to be a random order. They were not major things like value or inventory levels, but things that sort data and make reports and make our lives a little easier. Now we have to clean them all over again. But I was called indispensable today, and that always makes me feel more secure in my job.

I was telling everyone 6 lbs 9 ozs, but then when I saw it on Karen's site before she changed it, I changed it on my site and thought I had heard wrong - which wouldn't be the first time.
