I went in to work at 7am and worked through lunch. Everything took a little more time in the new system, since we aren’t used to it. We had a company meeting and were told that we are actually above target for our bonus. In spite of the economy, we are doing better this year than last year. But that is just us, and not the rest of the company. Some parts of the company are really hurting. Karen had an interview for another GT position and was told that she was the only teacher from the first round that was considered for this one. She was told that she will know within a couple days whether she will get it or not. Then she drove to Janet’s to watch the kids while Janet went in for final check-ups on the baby. Everything is all right, and she will go in early tomorrow to have the baby.

I went with Brother Brodrick to the Butler’s, who are in the Westfield Ward, for our FHE. We spent the evening talking about Isaiah. It was good and I enjoyed seeing the Bennetts again. They are up to 31 grandchildren. Part of the reason I went was that I was missing Karen and she hadn’t even been gone a whole day yet, and when I got home I felt the need to be spiritually fed.
